Upgrade your home comfort and lower your utility bills with ENERGY STAR®’s no-cost Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® assessment, a comprehensive, whole-house approach to improving energy efficiency. Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® is a national program administered by the U.S. Department of Energy in conjunction with the Environmental Protection Agency.

A Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® assessment reduces the up-front cost of installing energy efficiency upgrades in your home. Depending on the improvements you choose, you could save up to 20 percent or more on your annual utility bill.

Request a whole-house energy assessment:

It’s easier than ever to schedule your assessment.

An Energy Smart specially trained trade ally will provide a top-to-bottom inspection of your home’s energy efficiency. Your assessment will also include the installation of energy-savings products such as energy-efficient light bulbs, smart power strips and more – at no additional cost to you.

Step 2

Once your assessment is completed select a trade ally for energy-efficient measures based on your audit recommendations:
The Energy Smart approved trade ally will provide an estimate for the recommended upgrades and help you to identify specific rebates you may qualify for. You are under no obligation to move forward with the installation of the recommended upgrades. Please work with your trade ally on any costs that may be incurred to install for your recommended upgrades. Any residential Entergy customer in Orleans Parish who lives in an existing single-family home or building of one to four residential units is eligible to receive a no-cost energy assessment.

Trade allies are approved and trained contractors that influence the energy decisions of customers and facilitate participation in the Energy Smart program. Trade allies help customers implement energy efficiency upgrades and earn incentives for reducing their energy usage.
