EasyCool switches cycle your air conditioner on and off to reduce energy use during short periods of high electricity usage, also known as peak demand. If an event is called, your air conditioner compressor will operate at 50 percent of its normal run time, while allowing the fan to continue to run and circulate already-cooled air. Earn $25 for signing up and $40 for each year you participate.
Eligibility Requirements
- You must be a homeowner or renter with a central air conditioner or heat pump system.
- Your working air conditioner or heat pump system must be on or near the ground floor.

- Mobile homes, apartments and customers on dynamic or time of use rates are not eligible to participate.
