This program provides residential customers with the opportunity to make home energy measures that will result in reduced energy bills. Energy Smart provides instant rebates up to $1,000 per improvement.
Who Can Participate?
Any residential Entergy customer in Orleans Parish who lives in an existing single-family home, up to a four-plex structure, is eligible to receive rebates for installing energy efficiency improvements.
Walk-through assessment required for insulation only projects.

Walk-through assessment with blower door AND duct leakage test PLUS computer modeling conducted to make home eligible to participate in HERO

*Air infiltration sealing rebate requires a blower door test and duct sealing rebate requires a duct leakage test.
Step 2 – Select a Contractor
Select a Participating Contractor. The contractor will provide a bid proposal and an Energy Smart rebate application. After energy efficiency improvements have been installed, the rebate amount will be reflected on your invoice as a discount.
Qualifying Measures and Rebate Levels:
Rebates are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, as funding is limited. Additional eligible tax credits or rebates may be available.
